01 Trades
The trades, in order
One contract, one project manager. Our own teams and our partner trades come in this order:

Demolition
Removing the old kitchen, splashback and floor, and opening a partition if the project includes it.

Dedicated circuits for the hob, oven and dishwasher, worktop lighting, consumer unit upgrade.

Water supplies and sink drain, dishwasher connection.

Plastering and painting
Walls and ceiling made good, chases filled.

Kitchen floor, and the splashback if it is tiled.

Can we stay at home? Yes, with a temporary kitchen.
On request, we set up a temporary kitchen in another room: a sink on a cabinet, a two-ring electric hob and your fridge. It stays in place until handover.

We renovate the room, the kitchen company fits the kitchen
Choosing the fronts, appliances and layout is the kitchen company’s job. Ours is to hand over a room that is ready: services in the right place, straight walls, finished floor, properly sized electrical circuits.
We work from the kitchen designer’s plan from the first visit. Water supplies, sockets and the extractor duct are positioned from that plan, then checked with you at milestone 3.

Renovating the room: demolition, services, electrics, walls and floor. Units and appliances not included.

Example: a 9 m² kitchen opened onto the living room, load-bearing wall kept, new floor and splashback: CHF 16’800, kitchen units not included.

Orders to place early
A kitchen is ordered 6 to 12 weeks before fitting. We time the demolition to the confirmed delivery date, so the room is never out of use for longer than necessary.

- Stone worktop: templated after the units are fitted (1 to 2 extra weeks)
- Splashback or floor tiles

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell kitchens?
No. We renovate the room and coordinate the fitting. You choose your kitchen from the supplier you prefer, or from our partner if you would rather have a single contract.
How much does renovating the room cost?
From CHF 12’000 including VAT, excluding units and appliances, for a 6 to 10 m² kitchen. Opening a partition and upgrading the consumer unit affect the price.
Can the kitchen be opened onto the living room?
Often, yes. We first check whether the wall is load-bearing and whether a permit is needed (in Geneva, an internal alteration usually goes through the fast-track procedure).
