Kitchen opened onto the living room in Nyon
A non-load-bearing partition removed to open the kitchen onto the living room, with a temporary kitchen set up in the dining room.
The starting point
A family of four wanted an open-plan kitchen without losing the use of a kitchen for three weeks.
What we did
- The partition checked by a partner engineer: not load-bearing, no permit required (art. 68a RLATC, confirmed with the municipality).
- A temporary kitchen with a sink and two-ring hob in the dining room.
- Demolition timed to the delivery date confirmed by the kitchen company.
